Volunteer at the NATRC Cool Canyon Competitive Trail Ride

FATRAC has been invited to support the Cool Canyon Competitive Trail Ride, a two-day equestrian event focused on trail camaraderie and shared stewardship. This is a unique opportunity to build positive relationships between mountain bikers and horseback riders—and we need your help!

🐎 What’s Happening

Equestrian riders will follow a marked course on the Olmstead Loop in staggered groups based on experience level. FATRAC mountain bikers will serve as trail ambassadors, riding alongside each group at a walking pace to promote respectful trail use and connection.

🙌 Volunteer Roles Needed (10 total)

• 6 MTB Escorts – One per equestrian start group

• 1 Training Hill Check-In Rider – Stationed at a key checkpoint
