At its core, the project promotes inclusivity and equitable access. The upgraded skills features will serve all ages and abilities, with progressive elements that support safe development for beginners and offer challenges for advanced riders. It will also host community events, uniting Folsom’s diverse population around healthy outdoor activity.
As Folsom’s only public bike skills park, this shovel-ready project fills a critical gap in the city’s recreation offerings. It complements the existing trail network, expands access to outdoor experiences, and creates a central gathering space that fosters community connection, environmental stewardship, and youth engagement.
Thanks to a generous initial contribution from Claudia Cummings and a $10,000 matching grant, the project is poised to break ground. These early investments have unlocked momentum and demonstrate strong community support for the park’s vision.
Designed for minimal environmental impact, the site lies outside sensitive areas and will follow best practices for sustainability. Once complete, the park will require only routine maintenance—supported by FATRAC and community volunteers in partnership with the City of Folsom Parks & Recreation, which will oversee long-term stewardship.
Corporate and Business Sponsorships
This is an opportunity for corporate sponsors and local business partners to support the development and critical renovation of the Cummings Family Bike Park.
Double Your Impact: Local philanthropist Claudia Cummings will match the first $10,000 in contributions, meaning your investment is immediately doubled to support the renovation of the Cummings Family Bike Park (currently 70% closed).
Sponsorship is a powerful way to advertise your local business to thousands of Folsom families and show your investment in community outdoor recreation. Funds directly support professional design for safe, accessible park features and secure a long-term maintenance partnership with the City of Folsom.
Invest in Folsom’s outdoor future. Secure your matched sponsorship today.
We are asking the Folsom Community to come together and raise funds to help with these efforts. Please see Sponsorship Opportunities below. We are aiming for a grand re-opening, as early as Spring 2026!
