This loop combines two trails: Connector and the Foresthill Divide Loop. Simply start at the Connector trail head, located off of Clementine Rd., and head out on the Connector. Once you reach the end of Connector, you can either head to the left or the right on to the Foresthill Divide Loop.

The Stagecoach trail can be ridden in either direction, starting off of Russel Rd. in Auburn, or at the Confluence on Old Foresthill Rd. at the North fork or the American River. This trail is typically ridden by starting in Auburn and is used to access other trails such as Mossy Rock. Many riders will also start here in order to ride down to the Confluence and up Clementine as a way to lengthen their rides and end with a nice climb.

The Clementine trail starts at the Confluence of the North fork of the American River. This trail makes a great connection between the Stagecoach and Connector trails, or a great place to start a ride. Starting at the Confluence means a long climb at the start, regardless of which direction you head; however, it also means a nice descent to finish off your epic.

Fleming Meadows is a beautiful ride, located near Sly Park reservoir. The ride itself goes through deep, lush forest, and is comprised of fast, twisting single track and some fire road. The ride starts with a challenging climb that will test your fitness. It levels out and sends you dropping through fast and fun single track. Keep your eyes peeled - the trail crosses a few forest access roads and uses them to link sections. Follow the signs labeled "8" (not "8a" or "8b") and you'll be fine!

This well maintained loop offers some beautiful views of Lake Clementine and both the North Fork (NF) and Middle Fork (MF) American River. Straddling the Foresthill Divide at elevations ranging from 1600 to 1900 feet, it provides a diversity of flora as it passes through all four American River Canyon eco-systems: yellow pine forest, foothill woodland, riparian woodland, and chaparral.

This fairly level trail is the latest one to open in the Auburn State Recreation Area (Sept 2003). It connects Lake Clementine Road to the Forest-hill Divide Loop Trail, meandering through areas of chemise and foothill woodlands on the south side of the canyon above Lake Clementine.

Bullard's Bar is a beautiful area in which to ride. The loop here is comprised of some fire road, but mostly single track. The longest portion of the ride snakes above the reservoir on rolling, twisty single track. Be careful! There is some slight exposure here - the trail is narrow and some areas have the potential for a long fall.

Salmon Falls is a beautiful trail with a little bit of everything. It contains rocky, technical sections, fast, tight and covered single track and beautiful views of Folsom Lake. Early in the season this trail will be bordered with a lot of poison oak, so be careful.
