ASRA Volunteers needed for AMGEN Tour of California Bike Race

Auburn State Recreation Area (ASRA) needs 12-15 volunteers to assist during the AMGEN Tour of California bike race on Sunday May 16th.   The race will travel through ASRA from for about 30 minutes between about 1pm and 2pm; the exact timing is dependent on the progress of the race.

ASRA volunteers will help with parking and traffic control prior to, during and immediately after the race.   Volunteers in most cases will be able to view the race as it passes through.  

Volunteers must sign up in advance and be willing to work for approximately 3-4 hours.   Only current volunteers with a Volunteer Service Agreement on file are eligible for this effort.

Volunteers must attend a pre-race briefing at the Auburn SRA Office at 11am on Sunday May 16th before the race.
