Clementine

The Clementine trail starts at the Confluence of the North fork of the American River.  This trail makes a great connection between the Stagecoach and Connector trails, or a great place to start a ride.  Starting at the Confluence means a long climb at the start, regardless of which direction you head; however, it also means a nice descent to finish off your epic.

The trail starts on Old Foresthill Rd, just across the bridge.  The first half mile (approx) is a mix of double and single track and relatively flat.  After a half mile, the trail turns skyward, and you climb another half mile before hitting pavement.  Continue up the pavement for about two miles until you reach the Connector trail head.  From here, you can ride Connector and reach the Foresthill Divide Loop, or you can head up Fuel Break to reach Culvert, or you can just head downhill to Stonewall and Confluence all the way back to your car!

Trail Head: Old Foresthill Rd. At the confluence.
Elevation Gain: 921 ft
Length: 3.1 miles
Suggested Loops: Clementine Loop (23 miles)
