Bullards Bar Ride

Paul, Franke, and Joe from FATRAC met another rider at Flour Garden.  Four of them took carpooled from Auburn and met 3 others at the reservoir.  The ride began at Vista Point near the Marina end of the lake and headed toward 49, turning on Old Camptonville Rd to access the north end of the trail.  Half way through, they decided to do a loop within a loop, climbing up 7 Ball trail and back down Rebel Ridge trail.  Traction was tricky, but the trail was in good shape.  They moved a couple of downed trees aside and only had to hike over two larger ones.  A little blood, a couple mechanicals, but it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. Before returning, seven riders rode memorable 28 scenic miles in about 4.5 hrs.  You won't want to miss this one the next time it comes around.
