IMBA Trailbuilding School will be in Auburn April 4th and 5th
Help create new mountain biking trails such as the North Fork American Trail
Improve your favorite local trails.
Learn trailbuilding techniques and have fun!
The Subaru-IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in town to teach us all about designing & building sustainable trails. All area staff and trail enthusiasts are invited!
Friday, April 4, 2008, OR Saturday, April 5, 2008; 9 am to 5 pm
Friday’s class is targeted for Land Mangers, Saturday’s class is for volunteers, but attend whichever you can

On Richardson Drive between B and C ave. (Hwy 49 north, Left on Bell Road, Left on Richardson, then left into parking lot)
TIMES: 9:00 am to noon, classroom trail building school, lunch
1:00 pm to 5 pm, in-field training
WHY: With many new miles of trails being planned, staff and volunteers can benefit from this training opportunity! Come understand various planning/design issues, and state of the art construction techniques. Meet others interested in area trails. Support land managers in their efforts to maintain our existing trail system with limited budgets.
After the school on Saturday, there will be pizza and beverages at Auburn Bike Works, 350 Grass Valley Hwy (hwy 49), Auburn at 5:30 PM (just up the road from In and Out Burger)
Ride on Sunday at 10 AM, FDLT, Drivers Flat trail head. Wrap up the weekend with a 10 to 20 mile ride for most all riding abilities, riding and swapping a few stories with Anna and Jason from IMBA.
